Making a difference across Karnataka — April 2025 to December 2025 highlights
🩸 Blood Donation — Rakta Daan
Total: 2,020+ Units Donated (Apr–Dec 2025)
Blood donation is one of KPMYM’s flagship activities, conducted regularly across all branches. We partner with leading hospitals including Narayana Hrudayalaya through the Narayana Blood Bank to meet urgent blood needs and support Thalassemia Major patients.
130+ Thalassemia Major patients supported nationally through AIMYM’s blood bank network.
💧 Amrit Dhara — Water Dispensers
Total: 29 Water Dispensers Installed
Under the Amrit Dhara initiative, KPMYM installs and maintains drinking water dispensers at public locations — bus stops, temples, markets, and hospitals — ensuring clean drinking water is available to all, especially during summer months.
🏥 Healthcare Initiatives
MOU with Narayana Health (NH)
Signed 15 September 2018. Benefits available at NH Electronic City, Bommasandra, Mazumdar Shaw, HSR Layout, Langford Town, and NH Clinics. Over 7,570 patients have benefited nationally through this MOU. Thalassemia Major patients receive ongoing support.
MOU with Apollo Hospitals
Members and their families receive 20% discount on ProHealth packages, 15% on outpatient consultations, 15% on inpatient care, free ambulance services, and room rent concessions at Apollo Hospitals Bangalore.
Additional Healthcare Activities
Health camps for BBMP workers (Bangalore Stars), Cyber Security Awareness workshops, organ donation awareness campaigns, and regular health check-up drives across branches.
🌳 Environment — Paryavaran Divas
On World Environment Day and throughout the year, KPMYM branches conduct tree plantation drives at schools, parks, and public spaces. Branches participating: Bangalore, Bangalore Stars, and Bangalore Central.
📚 Education — Shiksha Sabke Liye
School bag and stationery distribution drives conducted for underprivileged students. Branches: Bangalore and Bangalore Stars.
👩 Women Empowerment — Nari Chetna
Sewing machine distribution to empower women economically. Teej Utsav celebrations fostering cultural pride. Active in Bangalore Stars and Bangalore Jagriti branches.
🐄 Animal Welfare — Jeev Daya
Cow seva (Gau Seva), Gopashtami celebrations, and other animal welfare initiatives conducted by Bangalore, Bangalore Stars, and Bangalore Central branches.
🏆 Sports — Marwari Premier League (MPL)
MPL 2025 was held in Belagavi, bringing together Marwari youth from across Karnataka in a spirited sports tournament, fostering brotherhood, fitness, and healthy competition.
🎉 Cultural & Social Events
- Walkathon 2025 — Conducted across Bangalore, Stars, Central, Jagriti, and Shivamogga branches
- Yoga Day — Celebrated at Bangalore, Stars, and Central
- Dandiya Utsav & Diwali Milan — Bangalore Stars
- Annadaan — Community food distribution drives
- Kanya Pujan — Honouring young girls during Navratri
- Blanket Distribution — For the homeless and needy during winter
- Matrimonial Summit — Bangalore (community matchmaking event)
- Sandeepan 2025 — AIMYM national event, Guwahati (attended by KPMYM delegation)
- Aikya 2026 — 45th National Sabha, hosted by KPMYM in Bengaluru, 10–11 January 2026
